The Limestone Police Department is
committed to delivering the most effective level of
Police Services, providing for a safer environment, and
maintaining the highest quality of life through the
optimum utilization of all available resources in
partnership with our citizens and developing a true
concept of "community policing". |

| Increase police contact with the
community, both direct and indirect, with a goal of
improving cooperation and reducing crime through
community education, utilizing the community policing
concept, and continued utilization of federal grants to
obtain equipment and personnel. Concentrate on increasing clearance rates on all classes of reportable crimes with emphasis on violent crimes and serious offenses against persons or property. Continue to increase both proactive and reactive strategies, including enforcement and preventive efforts, in the area of drug related crimes and offenses to include Driving Under the Influence in an effort to stabilize and/or reduce the crime and vehicular accident rate. |
