  • Slow down in bad weather.
  • Check fluid levels in your vehicles.  Be sure to check the anti-freeze level and use a gas dryer in your fuel tank to ensure you don't get stranded on the roadside.
  • Keep extra food on hand so if there is a bad storm you won't have to risk the trip to the store.
  • Carry extra blankets or sleeping bags in your vehicle. If you break down in cold weather conditions, these items can save your life.
