Limestone Fire & Rescue News
The Limestone Fire Dept. trains every Monday night at 6:30. The volunteers train for countless hours each year. Training consists of: pumps, fire attack, EMS, extracation, ladders, water rescue, and other miscellaneous topics. Our volunteers participate in classes outside of the fire department on their own time that includes many nights & weekends, such as the Maine State Fire Academy, Fire Attack Schools, County Classes, State classes, EMS classes, and the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Limestone Fire & Rescue Dept - Public Education Fire Prevention - Matt Beal The Limestone Fire Dept provides public education to the community for groups of all ages. We can provide presentations, tours, and safety demos, geared towards your audience. The Fire Dept travels to a number of classrooms each year and presents fire and life safety education to students of all ages. We also participate in community events.
