The Home Page for the town of Limestone was originally Designed and Created by Patty Metcalf in 1997 as she filled the role of Town Clerk. In 1998, the town of Limestone contracted Spitwad Internet Services, a Limestone based company, to provide space for the town to establish it's location in the world wide electronic neighborhood. The name LimestoneMaine.org is owned and maintained by Spitwad ISP. Limestone's home page was redesigned in 1999 by David King, a local Limestone resident who has volunteered his time to maintain the site on behave of the community.
